Ancestral Lineage Healing
In ancestral lineage healing sessions, you’re supported in being held in safety, love and guidance with your ancestors. These connections are deeply therapeutic and create healing that echoes forward and backward through time.
My medicine is for those for those who desire to cultivate fierce protective self love, seeking freedom and healing from the impacts of adverse experiences (in their life and in ancestry) that have altered their relationships with their bodies or their embodied expression. Particularly those who come from ancestral or lived experiences of oppression as women, gender non-conforming folks and queers or colonial violence that has severed relationship to land, spirit and self.
These sessions support the client to:
- resource with loving relationship with Elder ancestors
- grieve, transmute and release pain from relational wounding
- reweave relational wellness, embody and integrate the gifts of our lineages.
Ancestral connection brings you into deep relationships with the beloved dead and Elder ones – the deeply well ancient ones – as well as the diverse ecologies of the unseen. These healing relationships are our birthright. Many participants find this practice deeply resourcing and profoundly healing in how the threads of ancestral remembering connect us back into the web of belonging.
About Rue
Rue is a song & story keeper and a trained ancestral lineage healing practitioner. They are mentored by with Shauna Janz, Sacred Greif. They are rooted in their ancestral wisdoms, stories, songs and prayers, most deeply Highland Scotland, Ireland, Cornwall & Wales.
Guided by values of decolonial healing, Rue acknowledges that connection with ancestrally rooted wisdom traditions fortifies us to engage in full dignity, responsibility and humanity for the vital processes of decolonization and climate action

Our initial consultation will be about 20mins. There is no need to prepare anything, but if you don’t already have a journal practice it can be helpful to write out what you want to talk about. I’ll invite you to share a bit about yourself and what’s present for you. From there, we’ll craft a path collaboratively based on your needs.
